Job Description:

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Karcher Family Medicine team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will assist in delivering exemplary care and support in our outpatient family medicine clinic. You will work alongside healthcare professionals committed to improving patient health through innovative health solutions and comprehensive service offerings. Your contribution will go beyond clinical duties to include a focus on patient education and preventive care, embodying our mission to provide holistic patient wellness across Idaho and Oregon. Assist physicians and nursing staff in patient care tasks, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs. Coordinate and manage patient care including scheduling, patient intake and processing laboratory tests. Provide patients with support and guidance in understanding treatment plans. Maintain confidentiality and safety of all patient records. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems Understanding of healthcare safety protocols and compliance standards Empathy and patient-focused attitude Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
