Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Medicaid
Management Information Systems (MMIS), ensuring system stability,
performance, and compliance with state and federal requirements
Manage software updates, defect resolution, and system enhancements
by coordinating across development, infrastructure, and database
teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Apply systems integration knowledge and IT infrastructure expertise
to proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring
continuity of services for Medicaid stakeholders
Lead and mentor technical staff, providing direction on support
processes, change management, and adherence to industry best
practices and methodologies for software development and system
operations
Qualifications:
Must have at minimum: four (4) years' systems integration
knowledge, software development processes and methodologies,
knowledge of IT infrastructure, and managing databases
Experience working in IT, preferably with management duties
Experience with state Medicaid maintenance and operations processes
and expectations is preferred
