What you'll be doing... As a Staff Assistant in Pension Services, you will be responsible for supporting the Plan Administration of the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Plan. Your main focus will be to research, review and revise administrative procedures relating to the Plan and regulatory changes; communicating new procedures to the Area Administrative Offices; support the production and distribution of key year-end and other required Trust communications. You will also provide ongoing support to the application user community in researching and solving issues that may arise with any WCTPT application; assist in defining specifications and acceptance testing, and the implementation of all WCTPT system modification. *Position will work-from-home during the pandemic but may be recalled back to the office at a future date. As a Staff Assistant, you will: Provide ongoing support to the application user; research and solve issues that may arise with applications Assist in the defining, acceptance testing and implementation of all system modifications Review and revise administrative procedures resulting from Plan, regulatory or procedure changes Develop procedure memorandums for distribution to the Area Administrative Offices to implement retroactive Plan Conduct training related to retroactive Plan and system changes Assist in the review of business processes relating to the development of new system enhancements, technological changes Administrative or other related duties as assigned by the manager Based on the successful candidate's location preference, the job may be based in Seattle, Federal Way, Mountlake Terrace, Brisbane, Portland or Meridian. Who you are... Educated. Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience Experienced. Pension Plan, T-2 system knowledge or related experience preferred Team Player. Able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as being a productive and contributing member of a project team Organized. Strong organizational skills and the ability to utilize time management to work under pressure and within deadlines Communicator. Excellent verbal, written and professional interpersonal communication skills Technically Savvy. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Who we are...
