DEPARTMENT: Culinary SUPERVISED BY: General Manager STATUS: Full-time, exempt SCHEDULE: Must be able to work weekends EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: at least two years of Culinary Management experience and people management experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Efficiently run a high-volume scratch culinary operation while ensuring our guests receive the best food quality possible. This position ensures that our kitchen, kitchen staff and tools are running smoothly and at optimal levels. Organize and coordinate all Culinary Team Members Ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are being met by all staff Maintain a clean work environment Manage the kitchen and kitchen staff Personnel Management: interview, hire, coach, terminate Manage inventory and budget Required to follow all safety procedures to ensure personal safety from potential hazards Other duties as assigned as it relates to the team environment Reliable; consistently at work and on time WHAT YOU NEED TO DO THE JOB: Preferred knowledge of Micros or other POS systems Intermediate skills in MS office programs Exceptional level in people management and budgeting Awareness and ambassador of safety Food handler's card or SERV Safe/HACCP Certification, preferred knowledge in alcohol serving laws PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand/Walk: Frequently Lift 25bs: Frequently Lift 50lbs: Occasionally Bending, stooping: Frequently Reaching, Pushing, Pulling: Frequently Exposed to hot/humid environment: Constantly We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerPandoLogic.
