Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital provides specialized treatment for behavioral health and co-occurring disorders in Meridian, Idaho.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Community Liaison implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems. Position requires frequent automobile travel within designated geographical areas.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:






    • Develop and implement programs to strengthen and/or establish relationships within the community by conducting personalized visitations to all primary referral sources, interested parties and by representing the hospital at community events.
    • Consistently meet goals for a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week as established by the Director of Business Development.
    • Develop and maintain account management list to track current account information and update as needed.
    • Contact all primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailers on an ongoing basis, developing and encouraging a relationship of trust with all active accounts.

    • Monitor referrals and admissions, and in cooperation with the Director of Business Development plan an appropriate strategy to maximize referral potential.

    • Participate in the evaluation and analysis of facility statistics and provide recommendations to overall business planning strategies as appropriate.

    • Participate with internal facility administration to participate in the distribution of an internal facility newsletter, employee communications, special event communications, etc.

    • Attend scheduled meetings to provide the Director of Business Development with timely reports, client servicing schedules and other reporting requirements.
    • Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education and professional / community involvement.
    • Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
    • Maintain confidentiality.

      QUALIFICATIONS:


      • A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

      • A minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and knowledge of behavioral treatment principles, preferred.

      • Strong organizational skills
      • Ability to work independently
      • Customer service orientation including ability to communicate effectively with people of varied cultural backgrounds and lifestyle choices
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
      • Proficiency with computers using Word and other basic business programs
      • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel
