Employment Type:Part timeShift:12 Hour Night ShiftDescription:Position Purpose:The Nampa OB Department is looking to hire a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist. This position is not only responsible for supporting surgical procedures as a CST, but also caring for patients within the unit and completing administrative duties.Position Highlights and Benefits:

  • Schedule Information: This part-time, benefited position will work 24 hours per week. Work shifts could include weekends, weekdays or holidays.

  • Position may be eligible for incentives like a sign-on bonus.Minimum Qualifications:
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required.
    • Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.What You Will Do:As a CST/Obstetrics Technician ,you can expect to assist when overnight c-sections are required by providing setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff. -The majority of your time, you will play a critical role actively supporting our Maternity Center patients by rooming patients, setting up charts, helping take vitals, giving baby baths, assist the floor in stocking, and also function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant to provide the exceptional patient care that Saint Alphonsus is recognized for.Highlights and Benefits: When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
