An exciting new opportunity for an experienced registered nurse located on the Oregon-Idaho border. A small community hospital is seeking a full-time, ID-licensed RN for a Medical Surgical department. 

Located in Oregon-Idaho border, the Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will have the chance to work in a highly respected critical-access hospital. Servicing its community for 50+ years, this growing hospital offers a full-spectrum of healthcare services, including: Surgical Services, Emergency Care, Cardiology, Labor & Delivery and a Family Medical Center. Additionally, this hospital has recently made renovations to modernize their facility. In doing so, the RN Med/Surg will utilize the latest healthcare technology and equipment to help provide high quality patient care.   

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide highly quality nursing care, in accordance with the hospital’s mission and vision. In doing so, the RN Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will show high level of nursing knowledge based on evidence-based practices, be self-motivated and strong communication skills. Additionally, the Med/Surg RN will work cohesively with hospital physicians, nurse directors, nurse managers and licensed RN’s. 

This self-motivated individual will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient directly. In doing so, the Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient’s condition. The Med/Surg RN will also promote patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and educating patients about their diagnosis. 

Furthermore, the RN will strive to further their nursing knowledge by attending performance improvement evaluations, receiving additional training, and succeeding in getting proper nursing certifications.
