Primary Purpose

This position serves as the director of the Department's Meridian Counseling Clinic (MCC). The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing counseling services, collection of revenue generated from counseling services, along with the supervising the provision of mental health services (i.e., individual, couples, and family counseling). Additionally, the successful candidate will teach up to one (1) class per semester.

The preferred start date will be July 1, 2021.

1. Market Meridian Counseling Clinic's clinical services (25%)

2. Supervise the clinical managers and supervisors (ie, doctoral students) and provide supervision to masters students when necessary (50% )

3. Teach one (1) class per semester (25%)

4. Seek grant support for service expansion and support.5. Work collaboratively with KDHS programs to support clinic purposes

1. Master's degree in counseling from a CACREP program

2. Licensed as LPC in state of Idaho

3. Possess Approved Supervisor status, or eligible, in state of Idaho

4. Experience in clinical supervision5. Experience in marketing6. Experience in grant procurement

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference will be given to candidates who hold a Doctorate from a CACREP Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral program, or CORE accredited in Rehabilitation Counselor Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or closely related discipline by time of appointment.
