This role involves complete training to operate the entire line, from dough mixing to tortilla packaging, significantly impacting the company’s performance metrics. The role includes a tier-based responsibility and reward system, classified as T1, T2, and T3. Responsibilities Operate a production line safely and efficiently. Run the full line from dough mixing to tortilla packaging. Ensure the overall performance of the production line. Maintain excellent quality standards. Follow directions well and work independently within a team environment. Essential Skills Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to identify and analyze problems and plan solutions. Experience with food manufacturing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work with manufacturing equipment. Good hand-eye coordination. High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and methodically. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Focus on maintaining excellent quality. We specialize in heat-pressed, hand-stretched flour and corn tortillas, producing about 5 million tortillas per day. Our facility employs over 300 full-time employees and serves customers worldwide. The facility boasts a commitment to quality and uses the finest ingredients, time-tested formulations, manufacturing processes, and freezing techniques. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
