Job Description:

Shamrock Foods Company is looking for a reliable and efficient CDL A Delivery Driver to join our storied team. As a key member of our transportation division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products, directly impacting our commitment to deliver quality and value to our customers. This position requires precision and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that both products and drivers arrive at their destinations intact. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver food products and restaurant supplies to various customer locations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Collect and verify delivery instructions, handling invoices or payments when necessary. Report defects, accidents, or violations and ensure good condition of vehicles and driving equipment. Manage documentation associated with delivered goods and ensure accuracy in order and inventory. Ability to maneuver and control the vehicle in all types of weather and traffic conditions. Knowledge of electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc). Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to handle physical workload required to load and unload cargo.
