Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. is a large private employer with over 300 Convenience Stores operating in 7 states in the Pacific Northwest. We have an immediate opening in our IT Department for a Business Intelligence Developer. The primary duties of this position will be to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. This position will require previous experience as a business intelligence developer and a background in data warehouse design.
What will I do as a Business Intelligence Developer?
Here are some of things you will do in this role:
Examine, evaluate, and develop reporting requirements for various business units; develop reports and reporting structures as required.

Design, build, test, deploy and support BI solutions (ETL/Data Warehouse, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI).

Conduct and document unit testing and troubleshooting.

Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.

Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

Develop and update technical documentation.

Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

Train end users on new reports and dashboards.

Communicate with team members to assess progress of deliverables.

Intermediate understanding of database management systems (MSSQL), OLAP and ETL frameworks.

Demonstrated experience in the following areas:

Advanced TSQL

Query Optimization and Tuning

SSRS Report Writing

SSIS ETL Development

SSAS Data Modeling

PowerBI (Datasets and Dashboard Development)

Unit/Integration Testing and Documentation

DBA Experience

Master Data Management Experience

Additional experience in:

Data Warehousing in Azure Environment

Data Warehousing Automation

Data Vault

C#

Object Oriented Concepts, SOA, and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
