The collection and manufacturing practices at STS establish the highest standard of safety across the industry. STS builds and operates blood collection centers under the Trusting Heart Blood Center ("THBC") brand. Thrive on providing internal and external customers the highest possible standards in service, quality, and reliabilityPosition: Curriculum DeveloperLocation: This is a remote position with the ability to work from our many locations if local to that area in Raleigh, NC, Edina, MN, Beaverton, OR, Boise, ID, Omaha, NE, San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX. Boise, Idaho strongly preferred.The Curriculum Developer will have responsibility for course maintenance and creation, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration. The Curriculum Developer will be part of the Learning Content & Technology team under the People Operations division in the Operations department.The Curriculum Developer will ensure we have our training approvals completed on time, our training records are accurate and complete, and our courses are maintained to the highest standard. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of instructional design best practices, LMS functionality, and is looking for an opportunity to grow and learn in instructional design.The Curriculum Developer will report to the Instructional Design Manager and work collaboratively with all departments and employees across the company.The ideal candidate is hungry, meticulous, core values driven, phenomenal communicator and efficiency obsessed, who is excited to work in a nimble start-up environment. The Curriculum Developer will be professional and engaging and can serve as a passionate advocate for training best practices.DUTIES:
  • LMS administration including:
  • Ensuring new hires are correctly entered into the system and the accurate training is assigned
  • Ensuring former employees are offboarded from the system in a timely manner
  • Ensuring role changes are accurate in the system and any training removals/additions are completed
  • Task approvals
  • Course upload approvals
  • Quiz resets
  • LMS issue troubleshooting
  • Course creation and maintenance
  • Assisting with training records audits
  • Up to 10% travel is possibleKEY COMPETENCIES· Dynamic, professional, and upbeat teammate who is goal-driven· Exceptional oral and written communications and active listening skills· Nimble & collaborative team player· Knowledgeable in foundational instructional design practices· Able to present information in easily understood formats· Able to manage course maintenance and creation efficiently and on time· Knowledgeable in effective adult learning practices· Organized, consistent, and persistent with strong follow-up capabilities· Able to independently navigate complex and changing environments· Process-driven and able to follow standard operating procedures to fidelity· Demonstrated high efficiency and adaptabilityTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE'S EXPERIENCE· New to the industry and eager to learn· BS/BA in education, instructional design, or a related field preferred OR 1+ years of experience in curriculum development· Experience in life sciences, medical, or healthcare is a plus· Experience working in a highly regulated industry is a plus
