Job Description:
OB/GYN Physician - Collaborative Practice
Opportunity
Grace Women's Health Nampa, ID
Are you a mission-driven OB/GYN seeking a fulfilling
practice where team-based care, professional partnership, and
system leadership are paramount?
Grace Women's Health is a thriving, community-focused clinic
dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to an
underserved population. We are seeking two full-time,
board-certified/eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologists to join our
highly respected team.
This is a unique opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a
supportive, physician-midwife collaborative model.
Key Position Highlights:
- Collaborative Practice Model:
- True Partnership: Work closely and
respectfully with our experienced team of Certified Nurse Midwives
(CNMs). Our CNMs manage routine obstetrics and well-woman care,
allowing our physicians to focus on complex GYN surgery, high-risk
obstetrics, and specialized procedures. We do family-centered
cesareans and are developing a vaginal breech pathway.
- Optimal Work-Life Balance: The CNM presence
takes first call for low risk OB, leading to a more manageable
on-call schedule. The team practice culture leverages efficiency
for the practitioner on call, so time off is optimized.
- Patient-Centered Care: Our collaborative
approach provides patients with continuous, holistic support
throughout their lifespan, leading to high patient
satisfaction.
- Strong mentoring: The physician and CNM team
have many years of experience teaching and leadership mentoring.
This is an ideal position for the physician who wants to grow both
their clinical skills and their leadership abilities.
- Significant Financial Incentives:
- Competitive Compensation: We offer a strong
base salary commensurate with experience in this high-demand
specialty, with transition to a productivity model that allows
partner-level income without buy-in.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Includes generous time
off, medical coverage, CME allowance, paid malpractice, and
retirement plan contributions.
- Professional Scope:
- Full Spectrum Practice: Enjoy the professional
satisfaction of managing a full range of cases, including labor and
delivery, complex surgical GYN, and high-risk pregnancy
management.
- Modern Facilities: We maintain strong hospital
privileges and leadership presence at the award-winning St. Luke s
Nampa Medical Center and 10-Mile Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and
Gynecology.
- Active state medical license (or eligible to obtain one).
- Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for working in a
collaborative, team-based environment with Nurse
Midwives.
- Commitment to serving a diverse, underserved patient
population.
