2 Years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification,
PALS, NRP for NICU, RRT (CRT not accepted) Must-Have: Must be
comfortable floating between all specialties: ICU, MICU, MS-Tele,
ER, etc. Level II NICU experience preferred. Comfortable going to
deliveries and initiating CPAP. Pediatric experience in the ER;
stabilized and transferred patients. Description: Department:
Respiratory Therapy. Daily treatments include 25-28 for an 8-hour
shift. Types of patients: NICU Level II B, MICU, Pediatrics,
Adults, and Geriatrics. PACU treatments and overnight oximetry are
part of responsibilities. Areas covered include ER and inpatient,
across all floors. Job duties include performing ABGs (radial or
brachial) and managing all respiratory treatments. Respiratory
therapists are required to assist with intubation, not to intubate
independently. Intensivists, hospitalists, and anesthesia are
in-house 24/7. eICU is available at night for support. A manager
and a supervisor are present on each shift. The staff count may
drop during night shifts. Required equipment includes Drager V500,
Hamilton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm, and EPOC. Self-scheduling is
available, and flexibility in shift preferences is necessary. Every
other weekend availability is required. Holiday rotations may
apply. Optional on-call requirements with a 30-minute response
time. Floating to other facilities may be required with a minimum
60-minute notification. Scrub color is any clean and professional
color. Unit-specific orientation typically lasts for 1-2 shifts
