Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System. Additional Details: Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret tele. Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. EKG certification Unit/Facility Details: Must be willing to take students, may precept new travelers- please note on interview they are willing. Special Requests: Holiday Requirement: yes- if there is a need. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps. Floating Requirements: Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit. Can also go to any like units in the system- Boise Medical Center 8mi away and Nampa Medical Center- both about 8 miles away.
