This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of patient care through our extensive network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for managing medication orders, preparing prescriptions, and ensuring accurate dispensation under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep commitment to patient care. Assist pharmacists in prescription preparation and dispensation. Verify patient information and medication orders for accuracy. Manage inventory levels, ordering and restocking medications as needed. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Process prescriptions using computer software. Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Participate in regular training and comply with health and safety regulations. Proficiency in using pharmacy management software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work accurately under pressure Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement Customer service orientation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred.
