Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic team, using imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and care. You will work closely with physicians to produce and analyze high-quality images, contributing to the timely and accurate treatment of our patients. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays, CT scans, and MRI under the guidance of a physician. Prepare patients for radiology examinations by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort. Maintain radiation safety standards to ensure safety of patients and staff according to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with radiologists to determine the correct imaging techniques and processes to accurately diagnose patient conditions. Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel. Document all patient information and radiographic findings in the medical records system, adhering to confidentiality requirements. Proficiency in using radiographic equipment and technology Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team Detail oriented for accurately performing diagnostic procedures and maintaining records Ability to adhere to safety and health regulations Competency in patient management and care during radiologic examinations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid radiologic technology licensure in the state of Idaho or Oregon
