Job Description:
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a dedicated and
detail-oriented CT Tech to join our innovative team in delivering
exceptional healthcare services. As a CT Technician, you will
operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce
cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for
diagnostic purposes. Working within our state-of-the-art
facilities, you will be pivotal in aiding the diagnostic process,
helping to unveil critical information that will contribute to
patient diagnosis and management. This role requires a high level
of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a compassionate
approach to patient care, aligning with our mission of holistic
patient wellness across Idaho and Oregon. Operate CT equipment to
produce diagnostic images and ensure the quality of images.
Administer contrast media as per the physician's directive and in
accordance with protocols. Maintain patient safety and
confidentiality during all procedures. Work collaboratively with
radiologists to determine appropriate imaging techniques and ensure
precise results. Document and maintain accurate patient records and
machine logs. Participate in departmental audits and maintenance
routines to ensure the smooth functioning of technology. Provide
patient education regarding medical imaging procedures. Proficient
in operating complex medical imaging equipment, specifically CT
scanners. Ability to interpret physician instructions and execute
imaging protocols. Strong understanding of radiation safety and
protection practices. Exceptional communication and patient
management skills. Good organizational skills and ability to handle
multiple tasks concurrently. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a
Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT). Specific certification in CT technology
preferred.
