Overview St. Luke's Children's Hospital is seeking a BC/BE
pediatric infectious disease specialist to join our phenomenal team
of 2 experienced physicians in Boise, Idaho. This is a clinical
position that includes an inpatient pediatric infectious disease
consultation service, as well as a thriving outpatient clinic
practice, all located conveniently on the Boise campus. Our team
manages the full spectrum of general pediatric ID diagnoses
including TB, HIV, congenital infections, and viral hepatitis, as
well as solid organ transplant, oncology and bone marrow transplant
patients. The Children’s Infections and Immune Deficiency Clinic
provides long term care for children with HIV/AIDS, and for those
with primary immunodeficiency disorders, in addition to acute or
chronic infectious disease management and hospital follow-up care.
In this semi-academic setting, this role includes occasional
medical student and resident teaching, with clinical faculty
appointments available at affiliated medical schools. Involvement
in our well-established infection prevention and anti-microbial
stewardship programs is also an option. This position is full of
