About The Position We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This opportunity begins on Jun 30, 2025, and involves a set schedule on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 am to 3 pm, with additional time allocated for charting. The role focuses on both inpatient and outpatient wound care, providing essential services in a dynamic healthcare setting. Job Details - Location: Idaho - Start Date: Jun 30, 2025 - LOA: 30 days - Provider Type Needed: Wound Care Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, patient contact hours from 8-3 and time to chart afterwards Responsibilities and Duties - Assess and treat inpatient wounds through debridement and dressing changes - Manage outpatient follow-ups for chronic wounds - Apply and monitor Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) - Coordinate with nurses and providers on wound care plans - Document wound progress and bill for procedures - Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and care Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine - Proficient with the Cerner EMR system - Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Apply now to learn more!
