Group (SAMG) has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner
or Physician Assistant to join our existing Comprehensive Pain and
Spine team in Boise, Idaho. - Currently, the group consists of one
physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP). - We are
seeking a medical professional committed to a multi-disciplinary
approach to patient care who is willing to support a growing
practice in Boise and surrounding communities. - Responsibilities
include the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain,
developing treatment plans that include medication management
(opioid and non-opioid), ordering appropriate injection therapies,
prescribing conservative therapies (physical therapy, chiropractic
medicine, pool therapy) and ordering and interpreting imaging
studies and labs. - Additionally, the practitioner is responsible
for making appropriate referrals to outside specialties such as
orthopedics and neurosurgery. - - -Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration
with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to
support a growing multi-specialty medical group. - -
- Previous advance practice provider experience in pain
management preferred.
