Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:We are looking to hire a full time Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab - Prep/Recovery at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our off I-184 and Curtis Rd.This unit does not take call, work holidays, or weekends and they typically work 4, ten hour shifts that are primarily day hours with the exception of one later shift a week.As a RN working Prep and Recovery for the Cath Lab will:

• ---Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center
• Care for adult patients with cardiac illness or injury
• Work in a tight knit team and a department that can be fast pacedWhat you can expect:
  • RN's working in the unit can expect to care for patients who have undergone procedures such as heart catherization, pacemaker insertion, balloon pump insertion, and other cardiac procedures
  • To be with the patient through prep/recovery until they are discharged or assigned a bed
  • Work on a 20 bed unit -What you will need to start work with us:
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho. If multistate license must register with Idaho Board of Nursing within 60days of hire.
    • BLS certification at date of hire
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
