We currently have a client in Meridian, ID looking for Medical Assistant!Focus Staff is seeking a Medical Assistant who is highly motivated and energetic.Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary)Shift: 3x12 DaysRewards: (Medical Assistant Benefits)

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Certified through ASCP.
  • CPR Certified.
  • 2+ years working in a Medical Assistant capacity is preferred.

    • Prepare patient for examination by assessing condition, taking vital signs, and/or documenting medical record.
    • May assist Physician and/or technician with procedure(s).
    • Monitor response to treatment and medication.
    • Document patient results. Administer medication and/or injections.
    • Setup IV if necessary.
    • Perform routine laboratory functions such as obtaining specimens and ordering analysis.
    • Assist with front office duties as needed.
