Veteran-Owned Independent Family Medicine Clinic (www.TVFM.US)TEAM GOAL: to deliver the best primary care experience in the Treasure Valley.APPLICANT: Medical Assistant (MA) with training certificate.Job requires a high energy, self-motivated, quick-minded worker with an ability to perform well in small teams; average performers content with mediocrity or lacking curiosity to learn need not apply.Must be detailed oriented and mission focused. Highly prefer prior experience working in primary care clinic. Hire must be prepared to hit the ground running.TASKS: Enjoy tremendous autonomy and work directly with MD and PA to provide full spectrum, comprehensive primary care. We value in-depth personal service and schedule new patients for 60 mins, established patients for 30 mins each.Strong computer skills are critical given all records are electronic; we utilize the Athena EMR. Need functional typing speed, at least 40 wpm (http://typing-speed-test.aoeu.eu/?lang=en).Duties include: greeting/rooming patients; completing behavioral health and developmental testing scales with patients; administering injections/immunizations; phlebotomy/lab processing; assisting with gyn/derm/vasectomy procedures; ordering resupply items and materials management.HOURS: Full time Mon-Fri w/ patient appointments from 0830-1200; 1300-1700COMPENSATION: Salary starting amount depends on experience. High performers will see salary advancement. Benefits include health insurance (Blue Cross GOLD level policy - employer covers 90% of premium payments/50% costs of enrolled family members) and qualified 401k retirement plan with 5% matching employer contribution and immediate vestment of employee contributions after 90 day probation period.
