PLAYERYou are responsible for the maximization of revenue, profit,
and market share associated with rooms and function spaces for
multiple hotels. You will determine and implement strategies to
achieve this through analytical and technical knowledge of hotel
revenue systems and business intelligence tools. You will
demonstrate excellent leadership skills by educating others and
ensuring understanding and gaining buy-in of the revenue management
processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, opportunity
analysis, and inventory management. You will work with hotel
leaders to recommend and identify future markets, hotel
opportunities, guide hotels sales strategy and pricing for
transient and group segments.EVERY DAY, YOU WILL-- Maximizes
revenue, profit, and market share associated with rooms and
function space of assigned hotels.-- Provide day to day direct
hands-on revenue management leadership of assigned hotels.--
Partners with GMs' and Sales Leaders to ensure a strategic mix of
business and pricing strategies are set based on market conditions
to achieve sell out efficiency, targeted marketing, maximized
revenue, profitability and Annual Budget/Business Plans are
aligned.-- Effectively works with people, creating teamwork, taking
charge, generating enthusiasm, motivating, and using an uplifting
and lead-by-example leadership approach.-- Continuous analysis of
competitive set, price positioning, seasonality, and mix.-- Use all
Yield Management tools available to maximize efforts. Develop
appropriate selling strategies to include recommendations on rate,
arrival patterns, length of stay, and discount rate availability.--
Manage property participation and production through relevant
Internet sites and other distribution channels (CRO, GDS, ADS, and
OTAs).-- Build/maintain relationships w/OTA Market Managers and
ensure best representation on 3rd party web sites.-- Liaison with
Operations, Marketing, and Sales leader to support revenue
opportunities.-- Conduct weekly strategy meetings to ensure all
implemented tactics are achieving desired effect - monitor pace and
pickup, manage and adjust pricing across segments, products, and
channels, manage yielding of discount segments.-- Provide analysis
for weekly and monthly communication to Leadership on topics
related to forecast, STR performance, and revenue strategies'
success and opportunities.-- Assist with the preparation of the
annual rooms revenue budget and business plans.-- Identify needs
and create new company wide reporting to enhance our analytical
capabilities.-- Travel to each property quarterly at minimum for
visibility.-- Will perform such other duties, or assignments, as
from time to time may be assigned by the Chairperson,
President/CEO, COO or VP of Lodging.GHG24Requirements:YOU WILL BE
GREAT AT GERONIMO HOSPITALITY GROUP IFEducation: Bachelor's Degree
in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or equivalent
of education and work experienceExperience and/or Training:--
Minimum 3-5 five years of revenue management experience;
multi-property experience preferred.-- Knowledge of hospitality
sales, marketing, and other revenue management functions to include
research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal
marketing, distribution channels, sales management, brand
management, reservations, and yield management.-- Ability to apply
principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect
pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and
initiate appropriate course of action.-- Effectively convey ideas,
images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities.-- Negotiate,
convince, sell, and influence professionals and/or associates.--
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and
Outlook.-- OPERA experience preferred.-- IdeaS experience
preferred.-- IdeaS G3 RMS Certification preferred.-- A demonstrated
record of success in achieving revenue and STR and goals.-- Must
have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to
commute.-- Ability to travel as required.Technology/Equipment:
