Manufacturing Manager leads the production team and is an integral
member of the Management Team. They are a passionate leader who is

and implementing comprehensive countermeasures to prevent future

of responsibility also include but are not limited to: Safety:
- Support a plant culture that places a high value on workplace
safety
- Provides technical support in writing Job Safety Analysis
(JSA's)
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Recommends corrective actions as necessary.
- Assure that employees are properly instructed and trained for
their work and that safe working habits are established and
maintained
- Ensure that all machine safeguards and other safeguards and
exposure controls are in place and functional and that safety
equipment (including PPE) and tools are provided and properly
utilizedQuality:
- Experienced and passionate about using Continuous Improvement
techniques such as 6 Sigma
- Utilize new technology and proven systems to decrease process
variation and enhance departmental performance
- Track key performance indicators and uphold accountability
systems
- Develop a strong and confident team that understands the
concept of Continuous Improvement and that takes ownership and
accountability for building the highest quality product in an
efficient mannerOperational Excellence:
- Demonstrated proficiency and passion in Continuous Improvement
techniques
- Teaches and enables Lean throughout the organization
- Deliver strong performance management through performance
appraisals, feedback, discussions, performance improvement plans
and disciplinary actions
- Develop best practices and implement across all products
- Promote and maintain good attendance and employee
relations
- Involved in effective utilization of plant personnel within
areas of responsibility including hiring, promotion and
disciplinary actions as requiredStrategy & Planning:
- Work with management in establishing strategic plan for
continued process improvement
- Participate in Executive Steering committee for Lean and 6
Sigma
- Assist management in annual business planning including
Headcount Planning, budget, and decisions around staffing levels
and shifts
- Experienced in Quality Management Systems and can help design
and implement appropriate system in company
- Establish goals for production, and coordinate a plan to meet
those goals
- Ensure production stays on schedule
- Write production reports
- Supervises a team of hourly and salary production employees;
determining resource allocation, project schedules, and
budgets.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments, such as
finance, HR, etc..
- Lead production team in collaboration with other functions such
as engineering to implement new strategies Knowledge, Skills and

- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English and Spanish required
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Experience or
training in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
preferred
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing production environment,
preferably in a sheet metal environment.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 2+ years of experience in sheet metal preferred
- Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to
prioritize workload
- Highly organized and process focused, able to clearly
prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects and
implement sustainable processes
- Must possess strong knowledge, understanding and experience in
various problem-solving and participatory management
techniques
- Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to influence team
members outside reporting lines
- Strong planning, problem solving, project management,
negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated history of going above and beyond for the team and
