Job Description Job Description We are seeking a selfmotivated individual with a great attitude to join our team! American Mechanical is looking for a qualified canidate that has experience in the HVAC industry working with equipment and parts. This is an in office position involving checking in equipment delivered for Installation Jobs as well as orginizing and maintaining a running list of currently stored equipment. As a service manager this indiviutal would be resposible for reaching out to current HVAC preventive maintenance customers to schedule Preventative Maintanenace as well as keeping filters instock for each job. They would also be responsible for answering the phones, disbatching service technicians to service calls. Organization, people skills and the ability to go with the flow are needed for this position. This canidate will also have the opportunity to reach out to potential customers to establish a Preventative Maintenance contract. Often referred to as HVAC PM, preventative maintenance is a proactive and scheduled approach to the care and upkeep of HVAC systems . Responsibilities: Answering Phones/Walk ins Daily Schedule Dispatching Technicians Providing customer service for service calls Vendor communication/pricing Process Quote getting numbers from vendors for requested pricing from a customer Process warranty claims with vendors Managing files and filing Journal Entries for Shop Maintain office space cleaning, trash, and vacuuming etc Email communication Managing Bid Board for new project to bid (detail etc, updating any change orders to OM) Create and Control all Inventory for projects Upload pictures and Packing slips into Dropbox for Project Check in all vendors with materials for projects. Label/photo/upload Maintain contact with Vendors and customers Create/Assist with inventory control for stock on hands Order Filters Maintain office space cleaning, trash, and vacuuming etc Maintain OSHA documents and Saftey Meetings ? Qualifications: Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to take initiative. Excellent communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and effectively. Adaptable and easygoing, thriving in a collaborative environment. Independent and self-sufficient, capable of managing tasks without close supervision.
