Our team in Meridian, Idaho is currently seeking to hire an
experienced Integration Engineer to lead Engage's efforts to build
robust EHR/PMS interoperability capabilities and well-designed
systems integrations. In this role, you---ll bring technical
expertise to design, develop, implement, and help support complex
healthcare systems interfaces. This is a critical role reporting to
the CTO and dedicated to building and securely sharing the key data

possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Integration
Engineer is vital to our organization---s mission and growth. This
role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will
enhance the team---s success, such as: Partner with Engage
engineers to scope, design, build, test, deploy, maintain and
document data integration solutions, including determination of
communication requirements, secured integration approach,
development effort, and risk mitigation measures Design, build and
fine-tune data translation processes and data exchange for low to
high complexity interfaces using Engage's integration engine and
other applications as needed Contribute to the development of APIs
to enable secure data exchange, including data in industry-standard
formats (e.g. FHIR) Facilitate, or participate in, meetings with
clients, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders, to
gather necessary information for interface implementations Work
with Project Managers and our Sales teams to manage the successful
completion of deliverables and adhere to project deadlines Provide
technical expertise to integration interfaces and 3rd party EHR/PMS
systems Diagnose platform integration technical issues when
requested Maintain existing integrations and address production
integration support issues Perform root cause analysis and propose
effective solutions to optimize, refactor, enhance, configure, and
monitor existing integrations The document, maintain and own
technical artifacts, internal knowledge base, best practices, and
templates for all integrations; bringing in industry knowledge as
appropriate to improve Engage's solution Understand specifications
and requirements for the development/enhancements of interfaces and
other types of data exchange, including but not limited to HIE
standards and OP interfaces Transfer knowledge within the
department and to other technical team members Qualifications &
Skills: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have
the following skills: Bachelor---s degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field 3
years of experience building EMR/EHR system integrations or
equivalent healthcare interoperability experience Experience with
common healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7 2.x/3.x, FHIR, CCD,
C-CDA, X12, USCDI) and translation of data into/out of standard
formats; HL7 FHIR Developer Certification preferred Proficient in
Health IT standards and protocols Experience with leading EHR/PMS
systems (e.g. NextGen, Nextech, Eyefinity, Dentrix, Epic, )
Talented with one or more of the following development languages:
C#, Java, Python Experience with building, testing, deploying, and
supporting industry standard interoperable APIs Experience with
various communication technologies and interface protocols (TCP/IP,
HTTP/S, FTP, SFTP, VPN) Knowledge of web service technologies
(SOAP, REST, SAML, SOA, XML, JSON) Familiarity with common
structured or delimited file formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc)
Familiarity with healthcare standard terminologies (e.g. RxNorm,
NDC, SNOMED, CPT codes, UMLS, NDC, etc.) Experience with cloud
infrastructure and services Comfortable in a fast-paced agile
environment, and the ability to consistently revise your approach
in response to new information Strong organizational skills and
ability to manage multiple simultaneous engagements Strong problem
solving and analytical skills with experience to troubleshoot and
to resolve problems Excellent verbal and written communication
skills Ability to analyze complex information sets and communicate
that information in a clear well thought and well laid out manner
Proven record of delivering high-quality integration interfaces and
solutions that meet business needs Reference-able experience being
an individual contributor in a fast-paced team-based environment.
Additional Details: -- This is an on-site, full-time, salaried
position reporting to our Meridian, ID (a suburb of Boise) office
location. Our normal hours of operation are Monday --- Friday, 8:00
AM --- 5:00 PM. Compensation: Competitive Base Salary Commissions
