JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting in the
coordination of the various ongoing marketing programs and
functions to support the business at Western States Equipment.
Provides tactical support of Marketing campaigns and tactics
including but not limited to: digital and traditional sales aids,
website content, social media, tradeshows and events.
Assists with maintaining a calendar of activities for Marketing
department, including budgets, tactical plans, etc.
Assists in the coordination of customer events, outings, and
Assists with administration of Marketing management system(s) for
department projects and deliverables.
Provides support in seeking bids, issuing POs, processing of
invoices, and tracking of budgets.
Ability to capture candid photos with necessary background for
potential story development for social media.
Assists with gathering of competitive and market information, as
well as the customer journey and experience for potential sharing
and use in marketing programs.
Supports the CAT and WSECO brand identity to established
Develops and maintains highly organized filing system for vendors,
market groups, products, images and other marketing records.
Completes projects at the direction of the Marketing Director or
other designee within WSECO.
Adheres to all customer care standards.
Actively cares for and advocates safety at Western States. Adheres
to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.
Works within and promotes corporate vision, mission, and values of

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be a good listener with excellent communications skills, both
written and verbal.
Ability to self-manage and set priorities for multiple projects and

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g. English,
Communications, Information Management, Advertising, Marketing,
etc.) with strong written and oral communication skills
1-year minimum of comparable office experience required. Preference
given for marketing experience.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in
