Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller, you'll play a key role in
ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational
excellence. Core responsibilities include: Prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead key aspects of the
month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, journal entries).
Reconcile general and sub ledgers across multiple entities.
Maintain and oversee general ledger coding across divisions.
Analyze financial results and variances; provide insights to
leadership. Compile monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) schedules and
ensure proper revenue recognition. Manage company credit card
system and ERP administration. Support project accountants and
collaborate across divisions. Ensure compliance with tax filings
and union contributions. What You Need 3 years of corporate
accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or
related field (preferred). GAAP. ERP system experience (Viewpoint,
Sage, etc.) a plus. Construction or real estate industry background
a plus. Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
